Learn how to stake ETH via. the Blockdaemon app.

Now, you can stake Ethereum via. Blockdaemon's app.

The Blockdaemon platform enables you to stake your ETH easily through its simple app features, including connecting your favorite Ethereum wallet such as MetaMask to stake via our platform.

In this post, we’ll explore why we developed the ETH in-app WalletConnect staking solution, and how it adds value to Blockdaemon users.

What is Ethereum Staking?

Ethereum staking rewards you for participating in network consensus. To participate in staking, you’ll need to run an Ethereum validator.

The Ethereum network needs validators in order to stay secure and reliable. These validators confirm transactions on the blockchain by verifying the digital signatures on each transaction to guarantee that the rules in the protocol code are followed before the transaction is added to the blockchain. To become a validator, you must put in 32 ETH as a deposit to support a specialized staking node for the proof-of-stake blockchain as detailed below:

Once a deposit is made, the validator gets rewards from the network in exchange for their participation in consensus.

How to Stake ETH via. Your Crypto Wallet of Choice

We’ve incorporated this in-app solution to streamline ETH staking into a single, non-custodial solution with a user’s wallet of choice, whether it be MetaMask or a hardware wallet such as Ledger.

Validators are the strong backbone of Ethereum’s proof-of-stake ecosystem. Access to high-quality validator infrastructure is vital for a healthy ecosystem. Now, Blockdaemon lets you guarantee that your nodes are well functioning.

So How Do I Get Started?

It’s easy to get started with staking your ETH using the Blockdaemon app. First, connect with our support team at [email protected].

After that, we've outlined the five key steps below. Whether you're new to staking or a seasoned pro, these steps will guide you through the process of staking ETH and tracking your validator's performance.

Step 1: Click "Stake" in the Blockdaemon app and specify the amount of ETH you want to stake.

Step 2: Connect your wallet of choice (such as Metamask or Ledger) to see your available balance.

Step 3: Select the number of validators you want to purchase and confirm your withdrawal credentials.

Step 4: Wait for the validator to activate and for rewards to start generating.

Step 5: Track your validator performance using the Blockdaemon ETH Staking Dashboard.

Complimentary ETH Staking Dashboard

We give users a single, unified lens through which to view the entire ETH staking landscape. Armed with this data, you now have a crystal clear view of the ETH staking landscape, and most importantly, how your validator node is performing. This is vital when tracking the performance of your nodes over time.

In addition, ETH data is often hard to view across multiple platforms and formats. Many ETH stakers are forced to build their own custom dashboards, as a means of seeing validator metrics in a clear, visual medium.

With this dashboard, Blockdaemon welcomes you to view data for validators on the Ethereum network in a concise, user-friendly medium.

The easy-to-use interface provides actionable insights into your ETH investments and validator performance. This dashboard delivers granular ETH staking data, with simplicity at its core.
