Blockdaemon is a Day 1 Launch Partner for Arc. Our node and data infrastructure is live on Arc, and our managed validator services give institutions a direct path to network participation.

Arc is an open Layer 1 blockchain built as the Economic OS for the internet. It is designed for stablecoin finance, with stablecoins as gas, starting with USDC, and deterministic sub-second finality.

Blockdaemon is a Day 1 Launch Partner for Arc. Our node and data infrastructure is live on Arc, and our managed validator services give institutions a direct path to network participation.

Blockdaemon has supported Arc since the public testnet launched in October 2025, first with institutional-grade RPC endpoints and later with WebSocket access, now listed in Arc's official Connect to Arc documentation.

Blockdaemon's validator services and data infrastructure are trusted by leading institutions across finance and digital assets.

Validator Services

Arc operates a permissioned validator set under proof-of-authority consensus, built on Malachite, an implementation of the Tendermint BFT protocol. Staking is not live on the Arc network today. The network is designed to transition from proof-of-authority to proof-of-stake over time, and when it does, staking becomes the mechanism through which participants help secure the network and share in the value created by network activity.

Under the current model, validators are known operators accountable for block production, uptime, security, and incident response. Running an Arc validator is closer to operating critical financial infrastructure than to running a commodity node, which is why institutions choose a managed operator such as Blockdaemon.

Blockdaemon runs Arc validators end to end. Infrastructure is geo-distributed across three global regions in an active-passive configuration: if the primary node fails, a standby takes over instantly, protecting against downtime and missed blocks. Institutions participate under their own brand, with Blockdaemon operating the infrastructure behind it. Operating a validator today also positions institutions for the proof-of-stake transition, and we will publish details on Arc staking support as the network roadmap progresses.

Data Services and Nodes

Blockdaemon provides RPC endpoints for submitting transactions and querying chain data, WebSocket connections for subscribing to blocks and smart contract events in real time, event streaming for a live view of on-chain activity, and dedicated node clusters with automated scaling and failover. For teams that need secure transaction workflows on Arc, Blockdaemon's MPC wallets add policy-based approvals.

Arc's value to institutions rests on predictable, stablecoin-denominated fees and deterministic settlement. Those properties hold in practice only when the infrastructure serving them performs reliably at scale.

Built to an Institutional Standard

Every Blockdaemon service on Arc runs to the same operational standard, including SLA-backed deployments, 24/7 automated alerting, on-call incident response with defined recovery time objectives, and performance dashboards. Blockdaemon is ISO 27001, SOC 1 Type I, and SOC 2 Type II certified.
