This document is a case study about how Evmos, established in 2021 with the vision of integrating an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) stack into the Cosmos ecosystem, partnered with Blockdaemon to handle an unexpectedly high level of adoption in 2022. Evmos attracted thousands of new developers and needed a sizable team of engineers to deploy and maintain clustered RPC nodes efficiently. 

To be able to handle hundreds of millions of daily RPC calls while ensuring high availability, uptime, and low latency for community members and developers. Blockdaemon, with its extensive experience and capabilities in blockchain infrastructure, emerged as the ideal partner for Evmos. The partnership led to the deployment of over 25 RPC nodes, an increase in Evmos' capacity to support more than 350 million calls per day, and the development of unique monitoring tools, dashboards, and archival snapshots.
