Blockdaemon is a leading institutional-grade node operator, trusted to secure over $110B in assets across more than 80 protocols. As an active Lido Curated Module operator, we are committed to advancing the resilience and performance of Ethereum staking.
Earlier this year, we integrated Obol Distributed Validators (DVs) into our infrastructure because they address many of the core challenges of institutional staking: resiliency, fault tolerance, and operational security. DVs distribute validator responsibilities across multiple nodes rather than relying on a single machine, reducing risk and improving uptime. Just as importantly, Obol’s architecture ensures validator keys are never exposed or concentrated in one place — a design choice that aligns with our security-first principles.
With Lido now expanding support for Obol within the Curated Module, Blockdaemon is increasing its commitment by migrating a portion of its staked ETH to Obol-powered validators. This step not only strengthens the reliability of the Curated Module but also reflects our conviction that distributed validator technology represents the future of Ethereum staking at scale.
Blockdaemon strongly supports the proposal to incorporate Distributed Validators into the Curated Module and views this as a milestone in building a more secure, decentralized, and institutional-ready staking ecosystem.
