The Blockdaemon team is growing. From time to time, we like to take the opportunity to introduce you to some of our decentralized, and truly global, blockchain experts.
Today, we are shining the spotlight on our EMEA revenue team.
Together, this group brings deep product, custody, trading-desk and infrastructure expertise to Blockdaemon’s institutional clients across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Blockdaemon welcomes Chanchal Samadder as Head of EMEA. Before joining Blockdaemon, he led European product and capital-markets strategy at Bitwise Asset Management and, prior to that, was Head of Product at ETC Group. Earlier roles at BlackRock, Lyxor Asset Management (Amundi) and Aberdeen Standard Investments shaped his in-depth understanding of the institutional asset management and ETF market. Chanchal now applies his market understanding and senior leadership to Blockdaemon’s entire ‘node stack,’ guiding banks and asset managers from first proof-of-concept through to full production.
Based in Frankfurt, Tim focuses on the DACH and Nordics regions. He joined Blockdaemon after a career that included building T-Mobile International’s data-platform business and founding a content-services start-up. His experience negotiating complex, high-value technology agreements enables him to translate infrastructure requirements into clear commercial outcomes for institutional clients.
Danny’s mission is to drive crypto growth and adoption by allowing institutions to realize their potential in the web3 industry. He spent over a decade working at prestigious institutions, including Celsius, Citi, UBS, and Deutsche Bank, before moving into digital assets in 2021, and more recently at Bitstamp, where he led institutional business development for hedge-fund and banking clients. At Blockdaemon, he helps institutions across UK and Ireland access secure web3 infrastructure, bridging traditional controls with 24/7 digital-asset markets.
Linda bridges the worlds of traditional finance and digital asset market intelligence. She co-founded Degesis, a London-based startup leveraging machine learning to surface market-moving narratives for digital asset investors and trading desks. Before diving into crypto, Linda built her track record in investment banking and private equity at firms like Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse, Cinven, and EQT Group. Her work with crypto-native financial institutions, combined with her investing background, positions her as a trusted partner for crypto-native organizations deploying Blockdaemon’s infrastructure at scale.
As a Sales Development Representative, Sabri is often the first Blockdaemon voice a prospective customer hears. He joined from fintech recruiter Levin, where he placed senior sales leaders across high growth fintech companies. Sabri’s day-to-day remit covers qualifying institutional prospects and ensuring a smooth hand-off to the account-executive group.
Joel ensures that once an organization integrates Blockdaemon’s node, staking, DeFi or MPC-wallet services, the relationship grows. He has a background in fintech, including ten years working with institutional trading platforms. He played a key role in developing the customer success function at Consensys, where he was Lead Customer Success Manager. At Blockdaemon he orchestrates onboarding, relationship management and much more, working cross-functionally to keep institutional clients satisfied.
Blockdaemon’s EMEA team pairs decades of institutional experience with deep blockchain expertise.
