Blockdaemon has signed a new agreement with the Avalanche Foundation to expand institutional staking support on Avalanche.
As part of this agreement, Blockdaemon is operating a new public staking validator on the Avalanche blockchain. The Avalanche Foundation is supporting this effort with an AVAX delegation to help provide initial capacity, giving Blockdaemon a strong base to support new delegation demand from institutional customers. This gives Blockdaemon a strong base to support new delegation demand from institutional customers.
The partnership builds on Blockdaemon’s role as a trusted infrastructure provider for digital assets. It also creates new opportunities to support AVAX holders, including Digital Asset Trusts (DATs), large token holders, and other institutions looking for reliable staking infrastructure.
With this new validator, Blockdaemon is expanding its validator footprint on Avalanche and increasing the capacity available for institutional staking.
The validator is built to help attract at least 2 million additional AVAX for delegation and operates with a 2% commission fee on participatory rewards.
For institutions, this matters because staking is not only about uptime. It is also about trust, experience, and the ability to work with a provider that understands enterprise needs. Blockdaemon brings years of experience supporting blockchain infrastructure for leading financial institutions, exchanges, custodians, and protocols.
This new agreement with the Avalanche Foundation reflects that track record, and highlights Blockdaemon’s position as a premier gateway for institutional staking.
Blockdaemon and Avalanche support high-standard validator services for larger AVAX holders and institutional participants. That includes organizations looking for secure, proven infrastructure and a partner that can support staking at scale.
As Avalanche continues to grow its ecosystem of Avalanche L1s, strong validator infrastructure will remain a key part of the network’s long-term success.
With the agreement now in place, Blockdaemon is ready to support institutions interested in AVAX delegation.
