Exploring how institutions can put the right controls around AI-driven wallets and payments.

In a two-part blog series, Blockdaemon examines how institutions can prepare for AI-driven finance by first outlining why secure wallet infrastructure and policy controls are essential for keeping autonomous agents within defined limits, and then looking at how emerging payment models such as x402 and Stripe’s Machine Payments Protocol could support software-led transactions in practice. Together, the blogs argue that the key question is not whether AI will move value, but how firms design the guardrails, oversight, and payment architecture to keep that activity controlled and auditable.

The first and second blogs are available for further detail.

Blockdaemon Expands Institutional AVAX Staking Support with Avalanche Foundation

Blockdaemon has long supported AVAX staking. We are expanding support of the Avalanche Foundation through our institutional partnership designed to drive broader institutional adoption.

Blockdaemon is operating a new public Blockdaemon staking validator on the Avalanche blockchain. With Foundation-backed validator support, Blockdaemon can now offer institutions a simpler path to stake AVAX.

More details are available in the full blog.

Blockdaemon’s Event Streaming Service for Solana

Blockdaemon’s Solana Event Streaming gives institutions a simpler way to monitor on-chain activity without building and maintaining custom Solana data infrastructure. By delivering only relevant events in a structured format over standard HTTPS endpoints, it helps teams plug Solana data into existing risk, operations, accounting, and reporting systems with less operational overhead, stronger auditability, and better alignment with enterprise controls. Q1 Staking Report – ETH & SOL

Blockdaemon delivered strong staking performance across Ethereum and Solana in Q1 2026, outperforming network benchmark reward rates on both chains while maintaining the operational reliability institutional clients expect. For Q1 2026, Blockdaemon delivered 3.07% ETH PRR vs. 2.84% benchmark ETH PRR and 6.79% SOL PRR vs. 6.59% benchmark SOL PRR. For the full overview, access the Blockdaemon Q1 staking report.

Blockdaemon’s Solana Validator Delivers 6.66% PRR in March

Solana reward conditions softened in March, but Blockdaemon’s validator continued to outperform. We delivered a 6.66% Protocol Reward Rate (PRR), finishing 21 basis points above the network average.

March also marked important Blockdaemon Solana milestones, including the launch of Solana Event Streaming in beta, Solana staking in the Earn Widget, and Blockdaemon’s new Solana Resources Hub.

Blockdaemon’s Ethereum Validators Deliver 2.88% PRR in March

Ethereum staking conditions softened in March as network-wide MEV rewards declined and on-chain activity remained muted.

Blockdaemon’s validator fleet delivered a 2.88% Protocol Reward Rate (PRR) versus the 2.78% CESR, outperforming the network by 10 basis points and ranking 2nd among institutional staking providers for the month. Despite a more subdued execution environment, performance remained resilient and continued to reflect stable operations and execution-layer optimization.

Download the March 2026 Ethereum Validators Performance Report for a detailed analysis of execution-layer and MEV trends, institutional staking momentum, protocol roadmap developments, and Blockdaemon’s performance relative to network benchmarks:
